Fuqua Tiny Home Community — Design Milestone: Architectural Construction Documents and Structural Drawings Completed

2 min read

We’re excited to share another important project milestone: the architectural design phase has been completed, and the project has now advanced through the construction documentation stage for the first round of plan review.

Our team has completed the permit drawing packages for the project’s four home types:

  • 2 Bedroom / 1 Bath — 660 SF

  • 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath — 660 SF

  • 3 Bedroom / 2 Bath — 1,080 SF

  • 3 Bedroom / 3 Bath — 1,320 SF

The uploaded permit sets show that each package includes the core drawing components required for review, including cover sheets, master site plans, floor plans, exterior elevations, building sections, electrical ceiling plans, wall sections/details, and window/door schedules.

Structural Drawings Also Completed

In addition to the architectural permit set, the structural drawings have also been completed. Together, these materials form the main technical package needed for the first round of City plan review.

What Happens Next

The next step is to continue through the City review process. As with any permitting process, we expect to receive comments and will respond accordingly. Based on the current level of coordination and documentation, we do not currently expect the review comments to require major redesign.

Why This Matters

This is a meaningful milestone because it shows that the project is no longer just in concept planning. We now have a coordinated design and documentation package that supports permitting, pricing, construction planning, and sales preparation.

For investors, this is another sign that the project timeline remains under control and that the team is continuing to move the project forward in a disciplined and measurable way.
